Admission Process XI
To fill regular vacancies vacated by the last 10th class, candidates are invited for admission in MCM as Lateral Entry on Open Merit / Self Finance Scheme. All citizens of Pakistan can apply. There is no quota system for XI (Lateral Entry). MCM is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad.
Online Submission of Applications
Military College Murree has launched “Online Submission of Applications” system from March 2026 to facilitate the desirous applicants. By using the system, applicants have to fill the application form online. Following procedure is adopted for submission of online applications:-
- First of all, you have to enter your age. In case of valid age, system will ask for basic information like candidate name, father name, email and some strong password. After submitting the data, you will get code in your email address. Upon successful verification of code by candidate, he can login by giving email as username and password.
- After login at our online registration system, he will enter all the required data.
- Candidate will get a downloadable challan form upon the submisstion of online application.
- Download and print the challan form to pay your fee in the Bank account mentioned on the challan form.
- After the fee verification by the College, roll no slip will be enabled in your account to download and take print to sit in the exam. You have to bring the same at your exam center. (Note that the College will not post roll no slip to any candidate).
- Entries in the Online Application Form must be based on correct information. All entries will be subject to scrutiny and verification. False information by a candidate noticed at any stage of his stay at the college, will render him liable to disciplinary action / withdrawal with payment of training charges.
- The last date for submission of online application form is advertised through the press and website in February/March (1st Year Class) each year.
Selection Procedure
Selection is based on performance / grading of a candidate in the following (in the same order)

Written Test
All students who meet the eligibility criteria are required to appear in the written entrance test. The test will assess their knowledge in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry covering both subjective and objective questions based on the syllabus of the matric class.

Intelligence test
The students who achieve the highest scores in the written test will be selected to proceed to the intelligence test. The intelligence test will consist of IQ-based questions, encompassing both verbal and non-verbal aspects. The intelligence test will exclusively consist of objective-type questions.

Interview
Following the intelligence test, students will undergo an interview, during which the interview panel will assess the overall personality of the students.

Medical Examination at CMH/ MH
Students who demonstrate excellent performance in both the interview and intelligence test will receive a medical letter. Upon receiving the medical letter, students are required to undergo various diagnostic tests at the respective Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs) and obtain the medical fitness certificate.

Final Selection
The final selection for admission to the college will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in the Written Test, Intelligence Test, and Interview. Only the highest-performing students will be called to join the college.
Note :- Students of MCM are bonded to join Army. Academically sound boys may also join NUST and Army Medical College as Technical Cadets
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have passed Class X at the time of admission or appearing for Annual Board Exam for Class X.
- A candidate should have age in between 15 and 17 years on 1st Jul of the year of admission. Waiver up to 90 days is admissible.
- The candidate must be medically fit.
- Only Male candidates can apply

- Withdrawn from any Armed Forces/ Provincial Govts’ cadet colleges on discipline / character.
- Overage/ Underage
- Declared Medically Unfit by Medical Board.

Note:
Candidates have to deposit the following attested copies of documents at the time of interview:-
- Equivalence certificate from IBCC, in case of ‘O’ Level student.
- Matric Result Card.
- CORO, Unit Part II Order (for Army Officers, JCOs / NCOs / Sldrs).
- Form B.
