MCM
Military College Murree (MCM) was inaugurated by the COAS Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, NI(M), HI, on 1st September 2008. This institution is entrusted to educate and groom the students for induction into the Pakistan Army. Since its establishment, earnest efforts have been made at all tiers to make MCM a dynamic educational entity and an institute par excellence. College is structured for strength of 450 boys from class VIII to XII. On the eve of departure of pioneer entry, 1st Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 28 Jun 2010, and COAS graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. The students of MCM are known as “HIMALIANS” and the motto is Character, Courage and Commitment.
The Himalians are indeed blessed to find themselves getting educated at Military College Murree which is one of the best contemporary academic institutions. MCM has the privilege of having a healthy, harmonious ambience and rich values which have played pivotal role in shaping the future of many alumni. Being a feeder institution to Pakistan Military Academy our mission is to transform the Himalians into competent and daring leaders. This is my firm belief that the rich values and traditions imbibed at MCM would carry them to greater heights.
