Admission Process Class VII
Candidates are invited for admission in MCM in Class 8th. All citizens of Pakistan can apply. MCM is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad.
Online Submission of Applications
Military College Murree has launched “Online Submission of Applications” system from March 2026 to facilitate the desirous applicants. By using the system, applicants have to fill the application form online.

Applying to Military College Murree is easy. Just follow these simple steps to complete your registration:
Step 1: Check Your Age
Start by entering your age. If you meet the age criteria, you can proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Create Your Account
You’ll need to provide some basic information to register:
Candidate’s full name
Father’s name
A valid email address
A strong password (make sure you remember it!)
Step 3: Verify Your Email
After you submit your details, the system will send a verification code to your email. Enter that code on the website to activate your account. Once verified, you can log in using your email address (as your username) and the password you created.
Step 4: Fill Out the Application Form
Now that you’re logged in, carefully fill out the online application form with all the required information. Double-check everything before you submit!
Step 5: Download & Pay Your Fee
Once your application is submitted, you will get a downloadable challan form. Follow these steps:
Download the challan form.
Print it out.
Visit any bank branch mentioned on the form to pay your fee.
Step 6: Get Your Roll Number Slip
After the college verifies your fee payment, your Roll Number Slip will be enabled in your online account.
Action Required: You must log in to your account to download and print your slip.
Important: The college will not mail or post the roll number slip to you. You must bring this printed slip to the exam center on test day.
Important Reminders
When to Apply: Admissions for Class VII open every year in June/ July. The exact start date and deadline are announced in newspapers and on our website.
Exam Date: The entry test is conducted in October. The exact date is clearly mentioned in the advertisement, so be sure to check it carefully.
Be Accurate: All information in your application must be correct. It will be checked and verified. Providing false information can lead to disciplinary action or even dismissal from the college.
Selection Procedure
Selection is based on performance / grading of a candidate in the following (in the same order)

Written Test
All students who meet the eligibility criteria are required to appear in the written entrance test. The test will assess their knowledge of English, Mathematics, General Science, Urdu, and Islamiat/ History & Geography, covering both subjective and objective questions based on the 6th & 7th class syllabus (Punjab Textbook Boards)

Intelligence test
The students who achieve the highest scores in the written test will be selected to proceed to the intelligence test. The intelligence test will consist of IQ-based questions, encompassing both verbal and non-verbal aspects. The intelligence test will exclusively consist of objective-type questions.

Interview
Following the intelligence test, students will undergo an interview, during which the interview panel will assess the overall personality of the students.

Medical Examination at CMH/ MH
Students who demonstrate excellent performance in both the interview and intelligence test will receive a medical letter. Upon receiving the medical letter, students are required to undergo various diagnostic tests at the respective Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs) and obtain the medical fitness certificate.

Final Selection
The final selection for admission to the college will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in the Written Test, Intelligence Test, and Interview. Only the highest-performing students will be called to join the college.
Note:-
(1). MCM is a bonded Military College where, after completing FSc, cadets must appear in ISSB (twice) for the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.
(2). Wards of shuhada and In-Service Death (Army officers/ JCOs/ Soldiers) must apply online and forward a separate application to the COAS (Chief of Army Staff) Secretariat, GHQ Rawalpindi for COAS Reserve Quota.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate studying in class 7th and 8th can apply. However, candidates must submit 7th pass certificate at the time of admission.
- A candidate should be between 12 and 14 years on 1st April 2027. Waiver up to 90 days is admissible in upper and lower age limit.
- The candidate must be medically fit.
- Only Male (unmarried) candidates can apply.
Ineligibility
- Withdrawn from any Armed Forces/ Provincial Govts’ cadet colleges on discipline / character.
- Overage/ Underage
- Declared Medically Unfit by Medical Board.
- Submitting Tampered Certificates / Documents
- Concealment of Information in Application Form
- FEMALE candidates
